Ed Barnett of wichita falls wrote this letter to the IRS. I consider him a great American and a hero. Hopefully he is just the first. As he points out why should we pay our taxes? The Congress wont and they wrote the tax code.

 

"Dear IRS, I'm sorry to inform you that I'm not going to be able to pay the taxes owed on April 15th, but all is not lost. I paid these taxes, accounts receivable tax, building permit tax, CDL tax, corporate income tax, dog license tax, federal income tax, unemployment tax, gas tax, hunting license tax, fishing license tax, waterfowl stamp tax, inheritance tax, inventory tax, liquor tax, luxury tax, Medicare tax, city tax, school and county property tax up to 33% the last four years. Real estate tax, Social Security tax, road use tax, toll road tax, state and city sales tax, recreational vehicle tax, sales franchise tax, state unemployment tax, federal excise tax, telephone tax, telephone federal state and local surcharge tax, telephone minimum usage surcharge tax, telephone state and local tax, utility tax, vehicle tax, registration tax, capital gains tax, lease severance tax, oil and gas assessment tax, Colorado property tax, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Mexico sales tax and many more I can't recall and I've run out of space and money. When you do not receive my check April 15th, just know that it was an honest mistake. Please treat me the same as the way you've treated Congressman Charlie Rangel, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, ex-congressman Tom Daschle and, of course, your boss, Timothy Geithner. Since I dont think I was clear about the topic in my first post allow me to clarify. By saying people were telling me what i could say I was refering to rampant political correcness. Im tired of being shushed if I should happen to express an unpopular idea. If there is any topic we can not discuss, no matter how offensive to some, how are we to come to a settlement? I for one see nothing in the constitution that guaranties a right to not be offended.

Say someone has a different opinion that you see as wrong. How are you going to convince them of the error of thier ways if they are afraid to express themselves? To me it seems you cant, they will just go on believing whatever, because you didnt talk them out of it.

If I had any idea blogging was this much fun I would have started writing a long time ago. I just had this acount because I like reading the opinions and thoughts of others. I prefer to observe and ocasionaly interject. The devils advocate is my prefered role since this brings out the true motives and views of the people involved.

Thats it! I have been acused of being a nazi for the last time simply because I refuse to bow down to saint Obama. Let me point out some things. First as members of the National Socialists Workers party the nazis were plainly liberals. Second, how is it that us supposedly Fascist conservatives are the ones championing freedom of religion, and freedom of speech, yes even if its non pc? You my liberal friends are the ones telling me what words I can and cant use. You are the ones telling me what to eat, what to drive, and how to live. Now you presume to tell me how to vote? If everyone around you is a nut job, a racist, a criminal, or a terrorist, like those around Senator Obama all seem to be, then chances are you are one or all of the above yourself. Senator Obama in his own words wants to "Spread the wealth". This is plainly a socialist doctrine, and is dangerous to our economy. Hello! If you punish people for being good at thier jobs then everyone has no reason to be good. Look at the teachers union, a perfect example. Impossible to fire bad teachers. Now the schools are worse then any industrialised nation. In the likely event Obama wins, I am aware that I risk re-education camps for typing the above. But you know what? Fuck it! This is america and here we are supposed to do the right thing, screw the consecuences.
